COPPER-TO-PERFORM™ can be used in a wide range of crops to correct deficiencies and to provide copper during plant growth periods that require relative high levels of copper.

A number of crops, which include citrus and wheat are sensitive to copper deficiencies. Copper is an essential redox-active transition metal for plants. It is involved in multiple physiological processes as it can exist in multiple oxidation states in vivo.

Copper is also required in the process of photosynthesis; is essential in plant respiration and assists in the metabolism of carbohydrates and proteins.

Copper functions as a structural element in certain metalloproteins, many of which are involved in electron transport in chloroplasts and mitochondria, as well as in plant oxidative stress response. It is also required for many enzymatic activities and plays a role in the cell wall metabolism, production of chlorophyll molecules as well as the production of seed.
